I’m a culturally outdated gearhead with perpetually cut, calloused and burned hands. I’m constantly thinking about current, past and future projects. Whenever I tend to one of these three, I am thinking of the other two.
This blog is primarly here as a means for me to document and track the things that I do- so to that end, it’s a selfish pursuit. However, if I’m diligent in my work, and creative in my storytelling, perhaps you will get as much enjoyment from reading this as I hope to get from writing it.
There’s a great book called Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance that sums it up well: “The real cycle you’re working on is a cycle called yourself. The machine that appears to be “out there” and the person that appears to be “in here” are not two separate things. They grow toward Quality or fall away from Quality together.”
I work, I read, I learn, I lift, I build… I find passion in all things and pursue it relentlessly.
